The Sex Education Show coming to Channel 4

Presented by journalist Anna Richardson (Supersize vs. Superskinny), Channel 4's The Sex Education Show is a ground-breaking series that reveals the secret sex lives of teenagers as they talk about pornography, abortion, sexual disease, homosexuality, peer pressure and pregnancy.

The series will also reveal the results of the biggest ever television survey of teenage attitudes to sex to discover the real state of sex education in Britain today.

When it comes to sex, Britain is in meltdown. We've got the worst ever rate of sexually transmitted diseases among young people, the highest number of teenage pregnancies in Western Europe and, most worryingly of all, unlimited access to extreme pornography.

Exploring major sex-related obsessions, Anna embarks on some very personal immersive journeys. She finds out whether her relationship history has left her with any sexually transmitted diseases, discovers the truth about childbirth and takes an emotional roller-coaster ride to find out if she can have a baby. Joining her every week, a group of men and women will talk about everything from searching for the g-spot to libido, pregnancy and contraception.

Is it possible to improve your sex life after years of going through the motions? With the assistance of her partner of 12 years, Anna road tests the latest fads and crazes that claim to improve our sex lives, from aphrodisiac foods to burlesque dancing - do they really work?

Plus, the biology lesson you never had: anatomy lessons to explain everything you need to know about sex but were too afraid to ask.

The Sex Education Show starts on Tuesday 9th September 2008 at 8.00pm.
