Robin's Nest: The Complete Fifth Series on DVD
Network is delighted to announce the release of Robin's Nest: The Complete Fifth Series on 1st September 2008. This humorous ITV sitcom from the 1970s tracks the ups and downs of married couple Robin and Vicky. Inclusively are all six episodes from Series Five plus a Christmas special, complete and uncut, RRP £14.99.
In this fifth series, the story of Robin and his bistro, Robin’s Nest, rolls on seamlessly, with laughs and jokes as energetic and fresh as ever. The ever present mayhem and mishaps move up to another gear due to the excitement of the new addition to the household: Robin and Vicky’s baby. More room is needed in the already crammed Nest; financial arrangement needs to be rethought and renewed, not to mention a little matter of matchmaking for their friends…
Not surprisingly, things at Robin’s Nest often go topsy-turvy as always. Originally airing from 1978 to 1981, ROBIN’S NEST is required viewing for fans of Man About the House and its other popular spin-off, George and Mildred (also a Network release); moreover, though, it’s guaranteed to please all fans of classic British sitcoms.
Special Features:
'No Room at the Inn' Christmas special
Christmas dinner at the bistro isn’t the same without Vicky and the twins. With three men and a turkey, the family get-together lacks a woman’s touch. When Marion turns up to provide it, peace on earth flies out of the window.
Written by Johnnie Mortimer and Brian Cooke.
Original ITV Transmission 24 December 1980.
Episode Listing:
