Episode 1

Thursday 28th January 2010


Belle attends the launch of her first book in disguise, and hears all her criticism first hand. Her confidence knocked, she leaves for a client appointment. Left to his own devices, Ben chats up Camilla who mistakenly thinks that he is the author. Ben quickly finds himself out of his depth pretending to be Belle. Duncan, Belle’s editor, has big ideas for her second book. Belle is worried she won’t have enough material for a new book, especially when she has a really boring client. Duncan reassures her she’s a natural raconteur – the first book is already selling well. Bambi is upset not to find herself in Belle’s book, until Belle explains she gave Bambi and Ben fake names. That night they celebrate, and then Jackie, Belle’s sister, turn up on her doorstep. Jackie’s husband has cheated on her and she needs to stay. Belle now has to be a prostitute, author and sister.

Episode 2
Thursday 28th January 2010

When Jackie discovers Belle’s sex toys, Belle takes her to a fetish club to prove she’s not weird, lots of people are open about sex. Belle hopes that liberating Jackie’s libido will drive her back to her husband, who had an affair when they stopped having sex. At home Belle finds it impossible to live with Jackie and they fight, culminating in Jackie punching Belle. Later that day, Belle’s client rejects her when he sees her bruise; it ruins the fantasy of ‘Belle’ for him. Belle heads home, feeling low, only to walk in on Ben going down on Jackie! Jackie’s sex drive is well and truly rebooted, but she is ruining Belle's life! Meanwhile Bambi is on her first appointment with a young aristocratic client, Byron, who she's in danger of falling for. Belle is faced with writer's block and calls Duncan. He says he’s interested in whatever she has to say.


Episode 3

Duncan encourages Belle to find out what really turns her clients on. What is the meaning of desire? Belle’s client, Simon, desperately wants to be normal in bed, but having grown up on a farm his greatest desire is for women to make animal noises during sex. Happy to please a client Belle complies, but when it comes to writing it up Belle finds her own subconscious desires taking over and she fantasises Duncan into the role of the client. Belle’s chapter makes the appointment seem much sexier than it actually was. Meanwhile Bambi is on her second appointment with Byron, and despite promising Belle she will remain professional, she takes Byron back to her flat. Jackie wants Belle to accept that she and Ben are now a couple, and organises a dinner. Belle can’t cope with this charade and storms out of her flat. With nowhere else to go, Belle finds herself at Duncan’s office. They talk late into the night and there’s palpable sexual tension. Belle admits to us that she fancies him, but goes to bed alone.


Episode 4

Thursday 11th February 2010

Belle can no longer deny her attraction to Duncan. But he’s playing it professional, suggesting Belle finds a kinky client for her next chapter. At Ben’s bar, Belle discovers Ben wants to end it with her sister Jackie, but is too scared to do it himself. Bambi then lets slip that Byron has stopped paying her. Belle urges Bambi to end it – Byron is a client not a boyfriend. Belle has her appointment with ' Mr Kinky' - Des, a splosher, whose turn on is to get down and dirty with food, but Belle can’t get into it and ends the session. Its clear there’s only one man for Belle, and that’s Duncan. Meanwhile, her advice is being carried through by Ben who breaks up with Jackie who returns to her husband, and Bambi who breaks up with Byron. Disobeying all of her own rules, Belle has sex with Duncan. Afterwards, Duncan tells Belle this was just a one off. Bambi and Belle commiserate that evening, only to be interrupted by Byron who tells Bambi he loves her. Belle, thinking that she'll never be loved unconditionally like that, sploshes with Des again and this time enjoys it.


Episode 5

Thursday 18th February 2010

Belle declares that she doesn’t need love when she has money. However, when Duncan refuses to discuss the fact they had sex, Belle can't stop herself being upset. Belle returns home to an appointment with Al, a straight-talking Northerner. Just as Al leaves, Duncan arrives, keen to apologise for being so useless but determined to be with Belle, one step at a time. Belle feels the same way but she doesn't believe Duncan could handle her job. Prostitutes cannot have boyfriends. Fact. Ben agrees, but when Bambi turns up at the bar announcing her engagement to Byron, Belle finds herself questioning it. Belle asks Stephanie if call girls can have love. Stephanie tells Belle that money is the only thing working girls can rely on, Stephanie and Belle are similar in that respect they both put money first. Met with a vision of her future, Belle goes to see Duncan. If he really thinks it can work, Belle is prepared to give it a try. Duncan and Belle are now on.


Episode 6

Thursday 25th February 2010

Belle takes on the role of Russian spy, ‘Olga’, when she agrees to do a James Bond role play experience for her client, Stewart. The appointment will make a great chapter, and Duncan can't wait to hear about it. Finally able to balance her working life with a relationship, Belle decides its time to introduce Duncan to Ben. Unfortunately, Ben feels patronised by Duncan and doesn’t warm to him. Byron, having shown up the bar whilst Bambi is at a booking, takes Ben’s side. Belle thanks Ben for his support and leaves with Duncan. That night in Duncan’s club, they bump into Stewart with his wife. Stewart discreetly approaches Belle at the bar to try and deal with the awkwardness. Duncan misinterprets the situation, and tells Stewart to back off. Belle can’t believe that Duncan has potentially lost her a client. Things get worse when Ben and Byron turn up, steaming drunk, to tell Duncan just what they think of him. It’s becoming clear to Belle that she can’t have both Duncan and Ben in her life, but which man will she choose?


Episode 7

Thursday 4th March 2010

Belle has spent so long writing about clients, but doesn’t know what its like to be a client. She decides to find out and books male escort Connor. During the appointment, Belle feels so guilty about Duncan, she finds herself admitting that she’s not only a prostitute, but an author too. Connor decides to give Belle something to write about, and they have some of the best sex Belle’s ever had. Meanwhile, Bambi has her own client, a man calling himself Richard, who is revealed to be Duncan. Belle is completely oblivious to this, and feeling strange about having submitted a chapter about Connor, asks Duncan to come round. Duncan and Belle make love, but it becomes clear that Duncan wants to be having sex with Belle the escort, not Hannah. When Bambi calls round, it’s a welcome distraction. Bambi can’t wait to meet Belle’s boyfriend and invite him to her wedding, until she comes face to face with Duncan. The client she slept with only hours earlier. Belle is so happy with Duncan, she's left none the wiser.


Episode 8

Thursday 11th March 2010

Today is Bambi’s wedding day. But first Belle has an appointment with favourite regular, David, who reveals his own fetish and Belle is more than happy to oblige. After the booking, Belle goes to pick up Duncan but he tells her he can't make the wedding. Belle bargains with Duncan, convincing him to come to the wedding in return for a cracking final chapter of her book. Bambi is distraught to see Duncan at her wedding, and just before the ceremony she cracks and tells Belle everything. Duncan was her client. Belle confronts Duncan. He can’t understand why she’s upset, she sleeps with other people too. Belle tells him its different, it’s her job. That night Belle decides to write her final chapter on Duncan, the serial prostitute user. Knowing that she doesn’t want Duncan to profit from her book, Belle emails the chapter to the entire publishing house. There’s no way Duncan will publish the book now. The next day, Stephanie, taking pity on Belle, offers her a booking in the Maldives with a fantastic client. As Belle boards the plane, she gets a call from Ben. He can't hide it any more, he loves her. Maybe Ben could be the man for Belle?
