The fifth annual The Great Escape music convention and festival hit Brighton on 13th-15th May 2010, with a record-breaking 16,000 ticket buying fans and music industry executives descending to the seaside.

The event's fifth birthday celebrations saw over 300 of the most hotly-tipped acts from around the world playing at over 30 venues in and around the centre of Brighton, including Delphic, Chase & Status, Blood Red Shoes, Marina & The Diamonds, Ellie Goulding, Chew Lips and Peggy Sue.
