The band bring together multi-harmony singing, acoustic guitars, piano, clattering drums, electronica and assorted gadgetry. The band cut their teeth hosting club nights in Brighton’s thriving indie/folk scene and have supported Gomez, Tunng, Athlete and Ed Harcourt.

Song To Go To Sleep To
Sigur Ros: 'Andvari'

"In fact pretty much anything from their 'Takk' record really settles me, it’s such an organic sounding record with a soothing transient feel to it."

Song To Help Get Through Winter
Beirut: 'Postcards Of Italy'
"The title and the instrumentation pretty much do it on this song. Sounds like summer, on holiday."

Song For A Summer Day
The Acorn: 'Flood Pt. 1'
"This is a great record from start to finish, I really love the vibrant feel to this song, it’s got such a joyous hook to it. It makes me want sing at the top of my voice."

Song To Nurse A Hangover
Elbow: 'Scattered Black And Whites'
"It’s very delicate, and tender. It has a really lovely melody."

Song To Quit Your Job To
The Who: 'Won't Get Fooled Again'

"This song really fires me up, you can feel the pent up aggression in this song, from Townsend’s windmill powered chord stabs, Moon’s anarchic drumming. It’s really explosive."

Song To Sulk To After being Dumped
Jackson C. Frank: 'Blues Run The Game'
"Well, I think this song says it all about feeling blue, and reassures in that you’re not on your own. It really cheers me up, and makes me feel a lot more positive. It’s not a ‘wallower’, it’s a ‘pick me up’."

Song To Fall In Love To
Ella Fitzgerald: 'I’m Glad There Is You'

"Very romantic and very soppy, but just listen to the lyrics. I couldn’t put it any better."
